Assistant Project Manager – AfricArena

Mid-January to Mid-June (6 months min) Based in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa

Your main tasks will involve:

  • Ø  Operations: sourcing of startups, local events planning

  • Ø  Marketing & Communication: content creation, newsletter, website/app/portal updates, social

    media posts

  • Ø  Event logistics: event planning, front office, staff management, and other tasks as requirement

    come along.

    Your profile:

    Ø End of study internship, 6 months minimum – Business School or University Ø Autonomous & organized – ability to manage several parallel projects
    Ø Creative & sense of design
    Ø High interest in Start-ups and the African Tech scene

    You have the skills:
    Ø Previous successful experience in Event Organization & Communication (needed) Ø Previous working experience abroad, ideally within a start-up environment in Africa Ø Bilingual French/English – written and oral
    Ø Microsoft Office suite, Photoshop & MailChimp mastered

    Gratification: R4,000/month
