Personal history with South Africa and France

I am South African. Lived in SA until I was 25 years. Then spent 11 years in Europe - 8 of those in France (Paris). I have been back in Cape Town since July 2010.

I currently head up the Goods Not For Resale Procurement team for Pick n Pay. Prior to this role, in 2010, I worked for Process Excellence in Europe at Staples driving cultural change in continuous improvement through Lean principles and ensuring we maintain a robust strategic project pipe-line. I certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, having made process improvements of over $850 000 on strategic business projects across several business functions: supply chain, finance, call centers, marketing, publishing and merchandizing. With my strong finance background (Chartered Accountant SA) together with my operational experience within an international domain gives me a unique overall perspective of business
